中世紀(jì)英國人生活其實(shí)很苦，沒啥肉可吃，但是森林多，所以時不時捕鳥解解饞。但是snipe [sna?p] n.鷸鳥，感覺異常靈敏，所以很不好捉到，即使步槍發(fā)明后，槍手也需要隱蔽的很好才可能不被發(fā)現(xiàn)，所以sniper狙擊手（獵捕snipe之人），多單獨(dú)活動，用樹枝和山石等來隱蔽。
